ILLITERACY

There are over 60 million Americans and an estimated 1 billion worldwide that do not possess the ability to read or write. By teaching these individuals to read and write would change the world as we know it today. This would provide them the opportunity to educate themselves and obtain jobs which would improve their lives, their families’ lives and also benefit the world economy. This one change would have a domino effect which could possibly affect poverty, world hunger, health care, and even world peace.
